An Important Message from The Red Rock YW Stake Presidency:
We would like to welcome all of the 5th year girls of our stake, who are willing and worthy, to join the stake as YCL's this year at Camp Stimson. As the numbers are coming together, they will be absolutely crucial and most needed in helping make camp great. We have added some new activities and adventures to girl's camp this year and will be able to utilize a larger group of girls to help it all run. We had about 35 YCL's last year, and anticipate with the combined group, about 40.
Please keep in mind that both the 5th and 6th year girls will serve as YCL's for the stake; with no distinction in responsibility or title. It is so important to us that the girls understand this. This is their YCL year. All YCL’s will serve with the stake, travel up and back with us, and stay with us throughout the day and night. They will join their wards for Friday night testimony meeting, but otherwise will be with us. We will collect their permission slips and money as with all YCL’s. If the stake continues to follow this model every 4th year, we feel that prior to the ward camp year, the 5thand 6th year girls should combine as equals to offer a YCL opportunity to all.
